This is our first time participating in International Games Day. It seemed like a good way to introduce our new circulating collection of board and card games. We have been busy packaging and cataloging this new collection so it can begin circulating after the Program.
We hope you will join us to play some games and meet old or new friends. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to assist with explanations of the games if needed. Light refreshments will be served. Feel free to bring a snack to share, if you wish. (more…)
Have you read or listened to the featured book, “Dance of the Bones“, yet?
The reading group for adults, the Dora Bookies, are very excited about the upcoming programs. We are planning to travel together in groups to the Myrtle Point event on Thursday, May 12. Dinner will probably be on the agenda too. If you would like to join us, give us a call to add your name to the list.
Steve Laird will be conducting Summer Reading programs* for children and teens. Programs will be held at the Dora Center on Mondays at 11 am , beginning June 27th.
All programs are free of charge and open to children of all abilities.
An adult program will be held on the second and fourth Monday of each month, at 1 pm, beginning June 27th through September.
Watch for more details.
